New Bracelet: The Flame

New Bracelet: The Flame

New bracelet design for “The Flame.” A new petite sterling silver bracelet design was created for a bi-color stone which has been named “The Flame.” The stone is a cross-sectional slice of a Carver agate nodule which gave the cut stone its shape, size and totally natural coloration. Note the orange/pink rind surrounding the pink flame has a subtle polished wood look to complement the pure flame interior. Be sure to view this bracelet in the Shop!

Designer Gem Stones Gallery #4

Another new Designer Gem Stones Gallery is up! Be sure to visit and check out these new polished stones. Details: Photo #2250: Cross-section of carnelian nodule with white crystalline center.  For as yet unknown reasons, nearly 100% of red carnelian nodules from The Carver are heavily fractured.   Photo #2249:  “The Sun Flowers”.  This sun burst pattern is the result of cutting a slab from a silica nodule which contained starburst-like formations formed from zeolites.  They are observed in many different colors on The Carver.

New Stones from 'The Carver'

New Stones from ‘The Carver’

Here are several new stones from ‘the Carver’ found, cut and polished by me this September. The yellow banded agate nodule and the blue agate geode are rare finds, and are great additions to my collection. The cut and polished stones shown here will probably appear in bracelets in the near future. These stones, in my view, are incredibly unique free-forms displaying the beauty and diversity of the rocks of ‘the Carver’. Click on the Gallery Picture and a large slideshow opens. The Rock # is displayed in the lower left corner below the picture.
