Agatized Breccia

What do we mean by uniquely diverse agate formations from the “Carver” agate find?

This agate formation contains a significant amount of material that was highly fractured at some point in the geologic past.  The fractured materials include fractured agates and quartzes, as well as various types of lava.  These materials were in some cases reformed back into agatized breccia through the reintroduction of silica, sagenitic materials, re-coloration, and reformation by the silica filling the fractures.
