Two of my favorite selections, Rock #5801 and Rock #5782 pictured below, are unique but different plume agates. The featured stone, Rock #5801, is just plain interesting when enlarged, as you can see:

The next cab, Rock #5799 below, is a geologically rare rose quartz geode.

Another selection, Rock #5793 below, was to me reminiscent of a scene from my childhood—a fish bowl agate (named by me).
Rock #5793
One of my photo selections below was to me just a beautiful agate.
Rock #5758
Other specimens are representative of my favorite type of stone to cut and polish into cabs. The three rocks below are plume/jasp-agates.

The last stones I just plain like a lot, are Rock #5777, a brecciated agate, and Rock #5788, a plume agate.

I recently promised an extensive photo gallery of my 16 plus years of collecting and cutting gem stones from The Carver. That effort is underway, but will take longer than I thought as I have selected hundreds of my best specimens to go into this gallery. This photo gallery will (God willing) be followed by a cab gallery of ‘my best stuff’. I hope you enjoy this advance preview of what is to come.
Dad, I agree #5777 is a nest stone almost has a snail shape based on how you cut it. Your presentation of #5793 the fishbowl is unique. I don’t think I’ve seen a set up like that before. I would be remiss if I did not reference Star Trek but #5801 looks like the Doomsday Machine from the 60’s STTOS (YES BEFORE MY TIME). Cool specimens as always thanks for sharing! I will opt for the in person greatest hits specimen viewing! 😀
You are a good son, Josh Carver!
