This is the Carver agate field jasper “Grotto.”
This jasper has beautiful coloration and pattern and more. It has a totally unique and unexpected crystal-filled grotto which is shown enlarged in the photo above.

Just wondering if you have done any collecting in the Glass Mountains. If so what can be found?
No, I have not collected in the Glass Mts. Driving by them, however, they appear to be sedimentary rock. The Carver agate field and most of the other agate fields have an igneous origin.
